Community Outreach

In addition the ministries of our church, St. Luke's groups and individuals support and volunteer at many worthy organizations in our community. If you are interested in learning more about opportunities to get involved with any of these, our Communications Director can connect you with the appropriate St. Luke's contact person.

  • Episcopal Farmworker Ministry

  • Communities in Schools – An effort to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

  • Meals on Wheels – Delivering meals to those who are homebound.

  • Habitat for Humanity 

  • Rowan Helping Ministries and Food for Thought- Provides volunteer and financial support to help meet the basic needs of those in crisis. St. Luke’s gives a significant amount of money to this ministry each year, and encourages members to give both time and money to support this important ministry. Members also prepare two meals a month as a group from St. Luke's. The "Little Red Wagon" is located in our narthex as a collection spot for non-perishable food items for RHM.

  • Meals Assistance – Providing meals for members in a time of need or transition.

  • Rise Against Hunger

  • Youth and Military Outreach – Providing care packages to members who are in school or deployed.
