Outreach

Rowan Helping Ministries:  Provide volunteer and financial support to help meet the basic needs of those in crisis through RHM. 
Angel Tree: Every Christmas volunteers provide 80-100 children with gifts from their incarcerated parents.
Meals on Wheels:  Volunteers deliver foods to local shut-ins.
San Mateo Food Pantry: Provide volunteers and sundry items to assist local Episcopal Latino congregation.
Family Crisis Center:  Provide office space, fresh vegetables from our Community Garden and emergency supplies for women and children in crisis.
Community Garden:  A vegetable and flower garden developed with the City of Salisbury that provides food to the needy, education opportunities for our children, and a park like sanctuary in our city.                                                  
Community in Schools Tutoring: Volunteers work one on one with elementary age children under the guidance of Rowan/Salisbury School System.
X2 Mentoring:  Volunteers led by a group facilitator work in a group setting to mentor senior high aged youth.
Backpack Buddies Program: Provide weekend take home food for elementary aged children who qualify for reduced or free meals.
